Abby Wilson is the founder and owner of Dust and Bullets Western, an Australian western wear brand based in Morpeth, NSW. She started the business in 2021 while taking time off from her mining job to recover from a leg operation, designing and printing t-shirts to sell online. Having studied fashion and grown up on a cattle property at Clarence Town near Dungog, Abby began with two t-shirt designs and one hat, packing orders from her kitchen table for the first two years.

The brand has since grown to include a shopfront on Swan Street, Morpeth, a store at Stockland Green Hills and a warehouse in Singleton, shipping globally through its online store. Abby runs the business alongside her husband James, and she personally designs every product, which is tested by the family and staff before release.

In 2024 Dust and Bullets Western was named a finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards.

Abby built the brand as a size-inclusive label, stocking a broad range of sizes. She believes western wear should be for everyone, explaining that she started the business because she couldn't find clothes that fit her.
