Wellness

Australia

Katie Rajasingham is a Melbourne based founder and mother whose work centres on maternal wellness and supporting Australian mothers through chronic stress and burnout. Her focus grows directly out of her own health experience, which she has spoken about publicly.

Katie lived with pain for around 16 years before being officially diagnosed with endometriosis at age 30. Over that time she underwent numerous surgeries, including a partial hysterectomy, after which she was advised to take two weeks off work but returned after just three days. For years, she says, she returned to work earlier than she should have after surgery, worried about how taking recovery time might be perceived.

That experience informs the venture she now leads, which is built around helping mothers prevent the kind of burnout and under-recovery she knows first hand. Katie's perspective is grounded in lived experience, and her work turns it into practical support for other women navigating their own health and recovery.
