Laticia Braving is an Australian regional storyteller, filmmaker and strategist with ties to the Northern Rivers, Sunshine Coast and the Riverina. She is the founder and director of Blue Clay, a video production and regional impact studio she launched in 2010, and the founder of Regional Stories, a storytelling and social-impact platform that amplifies voices from regional Australia through documentaries, a media hub and community storytelling.
Laticia is also the creator and executive producer of the documentary series 'You Can't Do That in the Bush', which premiered its first episode, 'Plastic Fantastic', in Cairns in May 2025 as a collaboration between HOLGRO and Blue Clay. Through HOLGRO, a digital platform she created, she works to support and cultivate regional leaders through storytelling and executive wellness coaching. Her work as executive producer also includes 'Fashioning Change', co-created with Tanya Egerton of the Remote OpShop Project.
Laticia describes herself as a former TV reporter turned regional storyteller, and says she has dedicated more than twenty years of her career to telling stories about the people of regional Australia. That focus continues to shape her work, including her role as a speaker at the 2026 Agri & Agri Aqua Tourism Summit and her efforts to scale Regional Stories for communities across the country.
