Nick Roberts is a Founding Partner of Scalare Partners, the early-stage technology accelerator and investor based in Sydney. Established in 2020, Scalare provides investment, products, services and advice to support early-stage technology companies and their founders, and in November 2024 it listed on the ASX under the ticker SCP, raising more than $4.3 million. Nick describes Scalare as having come together with co-founders James Walker and Giles Bourne following a chance meeting of the three in late 2019.

Nick brings more than two decades of international experience building businesses across the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific, with particular expertise in risk and compliance. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of RISQ Group, an employment screening and verification business operating across the APAC region, and earlier co-founded Complinet, where he established the US and APAC operations ahead of the company's acquisition by Thomson Reuters.

Alongside his work at Scalare, Nick serves as an advisor to AsiaVerify, and has spoken publicly about the firm's continuing support for the company. His focus remains on backing early-stage technology founders and helping them scale.
