Shakas Designer is an Australian technology founder, serial entrepreneur, content creator and digital marketer with more than 15 years of experience behind the camera and building content around businesses.

She is the founder of CULO, a founder publishing ecosystem built around turning real experience and expertise into a body of work that can be created, published and discovered.

Culo Creatives is the creation layer: a Canva-integrated app designed to help founders turn their real experiences, expertise, thoughts and raw footage into personalised reels, carousels, captions and blogs.

The Culo Village is the publishing and discovery layer: a public platform designed to bring founders’ scattered bodies of work together and make their stories, knowledge and experience easier for people, search engines and AI systems to discover and understand.

Before building CULO, Shakas founded Pretty Cool Marketing, designed Billow Beach, a unique three-in-one beach bag integrating a bag, towel and pillow, and co-built Stagger Inn Adventures, a 4WD adventure tour company.

Her history in content began long before CULO. Under her legal name, Renee Talotta, she was publicly credited by the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks as a junior filmmaker in 2014. Her career since then has crossed photography, videography, digital marketing, tourism, product design, community leadership and technology.

Shakas now travels Australia with her partner Mitch and their children while documenting the realities of building businesses, raising a family and creating technology from the road.

Shakas Designer is the public and professional name of Australian founder Renee Talotta.
