Where's Robyn
A psychological drama about memory, identity, friendship, trauma and the parts of yourself you don't know are protecting you.
Robyn lives with dissociative identity disorder. She is bright, funny, caring, chronically late and somehow capable of turning a job interview at a primary school into a conversation about beer pong. From the outside, her life looks messy but fairly ordinary. She has a group of girlfriends who know far too much about each other. A man called Mick who feels suspiciously like home. An ex she should never have dated. A new teaching job. Impulsively dramatic. But there is another part of Robyn's life that is much harder to explain. Inside Robyn are Sabrina and Missy. They aren't simply passing thoughts. They have opinions, preferences, emotions, relationships, memories and instincts — and very different ideas about what Robyn should do next. Sabrina is sharp, fearless, defensive, sexual, sarcastic and almost permanently ready for a fight. She despises Alex, knows more than Robyn and is ready to step in — making questionable fashion choices, she recognises danger before Robyn is willing to admit it. Then there is Missy. Missy gets excited about matching salt and pepper shakers. She wants to touch Jennifer's pregnant belly. She thinks about babies, stars, love and campervans. She can make Robyn's world feel light even when something much darker is moving underneath it. Robyn lives with both of them. Except she doesn't completely understand that she does. That is where the story begins.
You don't know what's going on in someone's mind...
