Companies House records show that Fern Farm Canine Country Club Limited was incorporated on 14 December 2023, registered at Fern Farm, The Shoe, North Wraxall, Chippenham. The company, number 15351431, represents the second daycare facility opened by Samantha Taylor, who launched it in January 2024.
The new site builds on the business Samantha took over in 2022. She is the sole active director of Red Lodge Canine Country Club Limited in Royal Wootton Bassett, appointed on 29 June 2022, and her work across both operations covers dog walking, pet sitting, daycare, puppy school, overnight boarding and behavioural training. Fern Farm extends that offering onto roughly 100 acres of private land in the Wiltshire countryside, with services spanning daycare, puppy school, boarding, training and grooming.
Samantha's approach at Fern Farm centres on welfare. The facility's marketing emphasises a positive-reinforcement method, with all activity kept on-site rather than on public walks, and security measures including automatic gates and surveillance. It is a model that reflects how she describes her wider ethos. Samantha says she treats every dog in her care as her own and only works with people who feel the same way about dogs as she does.
That ethos traces back to where her pet care work began. Samantha explains that she started Paddywhack Dog Walkers around six years ago, having previously worked three part-time jobs she did not love, and that the business was born out of the love of her own dog, Paddy. From that starting point in and around Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon and the surrounding villages, her focus has grown into a pair of country clubs serving the Wiltshire area.
The incorporation of Fern Farm sets out the next stage of that work on the public record. With a second site now established near Chippenham, Samantha has given dog owners across rural Wiltshire a further option built around space, security and a welfare-led way of caring for dogs.
