You miss 100% of the shots you don't take and let me tell you how close I was to cancelling my trip to Sydney from Brisbane to stay at the Hilton, attend the @sipandsocialsfestival and celebrate my 30th birthday.

The week of, my son Banjo was sick with fevers, he literally vomited in the car on the way to the airport and i had to get out on the busy highway to make sure he was okay!

When i say the mum guilt was disgustingly debilitating i mean i nearly had a panic attack in Woolworth's earlier at the feeling of being a bad mother.

The flights, accommodation and Maxx Marketing event was booked and it was the hardest decision ever.

BUT OMGSH I'M SO GLAD I WENT!

I had an incredible time, got to see my family, have a decent sleep in a comfortable bed in pitch darkest, i got to dance all night with other incredible entrepreneurs and i'm proud i choose me ( if you think i'm a bad mother just unfollow me because i'm actually the best)

ANYWAYS book the damn trip no matter what, say yes to opportunities and fill your cup.
