Sunita Patil is the founder of My Wellness Journey, a Sydney-based wellness practice that brings together yoga, meditation and Ayurveda coaching, mentoring and corporate wellbeing services. The practice reflects a model of wellbeing support that spans corporate, community and individual settings, with Sunita working as a corporate wellbeing facilitator, meditation teacher and yoga educator.
At the centre of My Wellness Journey is an approach Sunita describes as blending more than 30 years of yoga, meditation and Ayurvedic wisdom with modern mentoring and coaching. She explains that this covers stress resilience, burnout prevention, mindful parenting, personal transformation and professional mastery. It is a framework that draws traditional practice into the realities of contemporary work and daily life.
Sunita describes herself as having more than 30 years of teaching and facilitation experience and more than 30,000 hours of facilitation across the corporate, community and individual settings she works in. That depth of practice informs the range of sessions offered through her wider work, which include corporate meditation, accessible workplace yoga, guided relaxation, mental-reset practices, stress regulation and burnout-prevention workshops.
Her workplace wellbeing experiences focus on stress management, restoring energy and effectiveness under pressure. Sunita also describes herself as a trauma-informed coach and facilitator, a qualification she lists among her credentials. According to her own site, her work extends to women's wellbeing and to supporting people through life and work transitions.
Beyond the practice, Sunita hosts the podcast Meditation, Yoga & Stuff with Sunita, which has run weekly since July 2021 and has reached well over 150 episodes. Together with My Wellness Journey, it forms a consistent body of work built on Sunita's long experience in yoga, meditation and Ayurveda, and on her focus on helping people manage stress and build resilience.
