SiteSherpa, the workplace health and safety company founded by Justine Youl, positions itself as an AI-native safety platform built for high-risk industries including mining, construction and civil infrastructure. Operating across Victoria and New South Wales, the business pairs technology with consultancy, bringing the two sides of workplace safety under one roof.

The platform covers the practical work that keeps sites compliant. Its services span incident reporting, hazard tracking, risk assessments, SWMS, audits, contractor management, ISO 45001 audits and WHS training. Alongside these, SiteSherpa markets an AI-powered safety app that includes an AI assistant known as 'Ask Sarah', and takes a voice- and video-native approach to incident and hazard reporting rather than relying on paper-based processes.

The company's direction is shaped directly by Justine's own experience. She explains that she built SiteSherpa because, working as a WHS consultant, she could not find software that worked for the businesses she was helping. Everything available was too complex, too expensive, or built for enterprise companies with dedicated safety teams. That gap became the design brief for a platform aimed at the operators who sit outside that enterprise bracket.

Justine brings more than 20 years of frontline experience in mining and construction to the work, having started as a heavy machinery operator before moving into WHS leadership and consulting. That background informs the platform's field-first orientation, and the voice- and video-native reporting reflects an understanding of how safety information actually gets captured on a working site.

SiteSherpa sits at the intersection of technology and hands-on compliance, built for the high-risk industries Justine knows from the ground up. Its focus is on making safety tools that fit the businesses doing the work, rather than asking those businesses to fit the tools.
