The MusoLingo account on X, listed under founder Nicole Salisbury and the @musolingo handle, is one of the smaller public touchpoints for a company building a distinctly different approach to language and workplace learning. The account joined X in April 2024, the same period in which MusoLingo's profile was beginning to take shape across universities, incubators and enterprise partnerships.

Nicole is the Founder and CEO of MusoLingo, a language-learning platform that teaches languages by having users sing along to music, using AI and neural-network-driven voice analysis to deliver real-time feedback. Based in Australia and operating as MusoLingo Pty Ltd from the Greater Sydney Area, the company has moved from early development to a product that is now publicly available. The app is live on the Apple App Store and Google Play, offering an English Level 1 topic with 15 modules and a library described as more than 400 songs across 24 genres, alongside a premium subscription tier.

Behind the handle sits a founder whose background runs through the music industry. Nicole describes starting as a singer signed to a label and played on national radio, before working at BMG and then Sony Music during the Napster-era digital disruption. That experience informs how she thinks about music as more than entertainment. She also runs Entertainment Marketing Group, a Sydney-area agency specialising in music, entertainment, events and experiential marketing, with work including video game launch events.

MusoLingo has built out its credibility through research and partnerships. The company received a grant from Investment NSW to support a collaborative study with Macquarie University, bringing together its Neuroscience, Music Science and Linguistics departments to test MusoLingo's patent-pending technology with users. It took part in Macquarie University's incubator program, where Nicole earned a credential from the EDUCATE at MQ Incubator and was named an MQ Incubator Pitch Finalist. The company also partnered with the University of Oregon's Media Innovation Lab as a foundation client.

More recently, MusoLingo has expanded beyond consumer language learning into enterprise and workplace training, collaborating with organisations such as MicroSourcing and Genfinity to turn corporate values into original music. Nicole believes workplace learning is moving toward being experienced rather than consumed, and describes the current work as just the beginning. For a low-key account on X, the handle sits at the front of a company whose ambitions reach well beyond it.
